Belarusian medics who went to earn money in Europe are not going to be let in again; the Belarusian border will be closed for them. BELTA reported that, citing the politician who spoke at the session, addressing the current measures to combat the spread of coronavirus in the country.
"So much for the fairytale about dolce vita. They are so eager for our doctors to come to Poland, to help the population and the state in their fight with coronavirus. I'd like to warn them: we have no extra doctors. We've got to threat our own people. But, abiding by our own principles, we will not be holding anyone. But one has to understand this: you leave - you won't get back you stay there and earn that big money that you came for", Lukashenko said.
He added it was not a mere threat, but an order for the Belarusian government.
"We've got to be puting everyone in check, without getting in their way - in case that person goes for a lot of cash", the Belarusian president said.
As of November 5, 103,295 cases of coronavirus were observed in Belarus; 998 people deceased, and 89,131 patients recovered.
