Belarusian government decided to send off the ambassador of Latvia and all diplomats working for the Latvian Embassy.
"Belarus sends off not only Latvian ambassador, but also all those working for the Embassy", Belsat wrote, citing Vladimir Makei, the Belarusian Foreign Minister.
The official added that the decision was made to leave one administrative and technical worker for taking care of the building.
According to Makei, the Latvian ambassador was summoned to Belarusian Foreign Ministry as he disrespected teh state flag of Belarus during an event in Riga.
"Too bad that Latvian Foreign Minister also participated in that incident, along with the mayor of Riga. That authority is basically supposed to make nations closer, not driving wedghe between them", he added.
Latvia earlier claimed to have expulsed entire Belarusian diplomatic mission from the country, too.
