The government of Belarus canceled the import ban for poultry products brought from Chernivtsi region, western Ukraine. The department of veterinary and food control of Belarus reported that on Monday.

The respective message showed up at the department’s website. ‘The previous order on the ban of import of live poultry, poultry products and relevant facilities is canceled’, it says.

In January 2017, Belarus imposed an import ban on poultry products from Chernivtsi region; the reason was an outbreak of bird flu there.
