Belarus is preparing symmetrical solutions in response to the next EU sanctions as BELTA reported citing PM of Belarus Roman Golovchenko.

"We did not attack anyone, but since an economic or hybrid war has been unleashed against us, you can call it differently, of course, actions will not remain unanswered," the head of government stressed.

He noted that the matter concerns the adoption of only part of the measures - Belarus will not use the entire arsenal of resources to react to the decision of Brussels. However, the answer will be symmetrical, Golovchenko added.

Earlier the ambassadors of the European Union gave the green light to the fifth package of sanctions against Belarus, which includes economic restrictions on 17 people and 11 organizations.
