Azerbaijani President to visit Ukraine

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will arrive in Ukraine on an official visit, which will take place in the framework of the sixth meeting of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan. It is reported by the press service of President of Ukraine.

According to the report, the presidents of the two countries held a meeting in the framework of their working visit to Davos.

During the dialogue the sides noted the successful implementation of the agreements reached at the fifth meeting of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan, held in Baku in 2016. They reaffirmed their mutual interest in further deepening of the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation. The two sides reaffirmed their mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both countries.

At the end Poroshenko and Aliyev discussed the preparations for the sixth meeting of the Council of Presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan to be held in the framework of the official visit of the current President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine.
