Azarov hopes Trump, Russia cooperate to eliminate Ukrainian authorities

Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov that fled to Russia after the victory of the Maidan expressed the hope that the new US Administration, in cooperation with the Russian Federation will eliminate the current Ukrainian government, the Russian BBC Service reports.

"I very much hope that the new American administration, after considering all for and against and making a realistic analysis of the situation in Ukraine will change these policies and will seek a compromise with the Russian Federation to resolve the situation in Ukraine", Azarov said at a press conference dedicated to the release of his book "Lessons of the Maidan” in Moscow.

The new book consists of Azarov’s posts on his page on Facebook, made from late 2015 until the end of 2016, in which he criticized the policy of the current leaders of Ukraine, and also recalls Euromaidan days, the report said.

It is also noted that according to Azarov, the current Ukrainian leadership does not take independent decisions – the USA do it instead of them.
