Vienna could become a venue for the future talks between Ukraine and Russia, as these two countries seek peaceful ways to solve Donbas conflict. Sebastian Kurz, the Austrian Chancellor said so at a briefing after his meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky. TASS quoted him as saying.
"We're well aware of this topic (moving the talks from Minsk, - 112 International). If there's a chance to make a contribution, we're always ready. The decision, of course, depends on Ukrainian and Russian sides, but we're always ready to make a contribution", Kurz said.
According to him, Austria has been always supporting the dialogue, trying to employ its contacts between the West and the East in the best interests of all parties.
In turn, the President of Ukraine claimed that the topic of moving the negotiations from Minsk to some other place will not be discussed until the situation in Belarus is solved.
