Ukraine, Donbas to be discussed at NATO summit in London, - Stoltenberg

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg says that Ukraine and the Donbas are topics that would be on the agenda at the Alliance summit in London on December 3-4. The NATO Secretary-General stated this in a comment on Ukrinform during a press conference on the eve of the London Summit.

“I am convinced that the situation in Ukraine and efforts to implement the Minsk agreements will be part of the discussion in London. We welcome the efforts of the Allies in the Norman format in finding ways to certain progress,” Stoltenberg said.

He assured NATO of its intention to continue to practically and politically support Ukraine. The Secretary-General of the Alliance added that NATO will support efforts to implement the Minsk agreements, to find a sustainable and lasting political solution to the current crisis.

As we reported, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg called on Alliance members to provide more resources in order to support Ukraine and Georgia, he also reminded about their importance as partners of the Alliance in the Black Sea region.
