The Armenian military accused Azerbaijan of provoking the shootout in Verin Shorzha village, on the border between the two countries. Samvel Asatryan, Chief of the Information Department of General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces said so as cited by Armenian public TV.
"The Azerbaijani troops provoked the shooting", Asatryan said.
According to him, one Armenian and two Azerbaijani soldiers were wounded in the incident.
