The representative of the Ukrainian delegation in the contact group on Donbas and adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Oleksiy Arestovych, made a proposal to rename the Ukrainian language to Ruthenian language. He announced this on the air of the Politeka YouTube channel.

According to Arestovych, the Ukrainian language is modern but rooted in the deep past. In this regard, the advisor proposes to keep for him the double name "Rus-Ukrainian."

He noted that he would like to see how Russia "will call for war with Russia."

"This is a blow to the very heart of the dragon! We are knocking out the foundations of their propaganda," Arestovych said.

Note that earlier Oleksiy Arestovych proposed to rename Ukraine.

"Our task is to become Rus-Ukraine. This name has been voiced five times in the president's speech over the past three weeks in Kyiv. Now, if we do this, the rest can be a little worried about," he said.

Arestovych also speaks of the need to take away the "Russians" brand from the Russians.
