The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has been searching the office of Pavlo Bukin, CEO of Ukroboronprom, Ukraine's leading defense enterprise. An informed source in the agency reported that on Thursday.
According to the source, houses, apartments and cars of the corruption case suspects are searched; in total, 58 search procedures are underway at the time.
As it was reported earlier, the investigators of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office detained the acting and former directors of the State Foreign Trade Enterprise SpetsTechnoExport on suspicion of embezzling $2,225 million, according to NABU.
Besides, the NABU has registered a new criminal proceeding after the third video on the embezzlement in the purchase in the defense sector was published by the investigation journalists.
