193 European airports could soon face bankruptcy due to the pandemic of Covid-19 and the related crisis. ACI EUROPE, the lobbying association that protects collective interests of European airports reported that as quoted by Politico.

The organization says that Europe risks "obliterating significant part of its air transportation system", unless governments are able to support this branch.

The association did not mention actual airports that faced such danger; it is only known that these airports helped support 277,000 jobs in total.
