The Russian peacekeepers deployed nine observer posts both in south and north zones of responsibility in Nagorno-Karabakh. Besides, seven temporary posts in the Lachin Corridor as the Defense Ministry of Russia reported.

“For the purpose of the organized entry of the peacekeeping forces since November 10, 2020, seven temporary observer posts were deployed in Lachin Corridor (along Zabux road, Lysogorsky state farm, Zarisli). Yesterday, the detachments of the 15th separate motor rifle brigade finished the deployment of the observer posts in the North responsibility zone. Currently, the control over the observation of the ceasefire regime and combat actions are held by peacekeeping detachments at nine observer posts in the south zone and nine in north zones,” the message said.

The command post deployed in Stepanakert holds the command over the Russian peacekeeping forces.

Meanwhile, the redeployment of the main forces of the Russian peacekeeping contingent continues. Mostly, it consists of the 15th separate motor rifle brigade of the Central military district.

“The planes of the military-transport aircraft continue the transfer to Armenia of personnel, armament, military and special hardware. Totally, since November 10, 2020, 118 flights were held, including 23 flights during the past 24 hours,” the Defense Ministry specified.

It is noted that the ceasefire regime is observed all over the contact line. According to reached agreements in Nagorno-Karabakh, the exchange of bodies of the deceased takes place. It is held under the coordination of the peacekeeping forces of Russia and the ICRC and State Emergency Service of Nagorno-Karabakh.

In order to prevent possible incidents and provide security, the Russian military have direct communication channels with the General Staffs of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

On November 9, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev agreed to cease the war in Nagorno-Karabakh.

As we reported earlier, yesterday, on November 11, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev declared victory in the military conflict in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.

On November 14, Armenia and Azerbaijan started the exchange of the bodies of servicemen killed in the battles in Nagorno-Karabakh.
