During the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of Donbas conflict, the sides agreed to observe the ceasefire regime. This was reported by the Ukrainian delegation of TCG in Telegram channel.

"The Ukrainian delegation requested assistance from the OSCE representatives and ordered the Russian side to take immediate measures to end the violation of the ceasefire and the escalation of the armed conflict," the message informs.

What was discussed at the TCG meeting:

  • violations that took place and led to tragic consequences;
  • measures to prevent further violations.

Trilateral Contact Group agreed to observe the silence regime and to continue consultations at the next TCG meeting, which is scheduled for November 10 this year.

As we reported earlier, the sides at the Trilateral Contact Group agreed to open two checkpoints – Zolote and Shchastya –on November 10 in Donbas. Besides, Ukraine urged the Russian Federation and occupation authorities of Donbas to unblock the process of the mutual release of prisoners.
