Political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy Four countries - Germany and France - Jens Pletner and Emmanuel Bonn will arrive in Ukraine next week. This was announced by the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak on his Facebook page.

According to Yermak, this week he already spoke with Norman advisers on the eve of their visit to Moscow, after which he discussed the situation around the Ukrainian borders and security aspects with US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia Karen Donfried.

"Next week, my colleagues from France and Germany, political advisers to the leaders of the countries participating in the Normandy format, will come to Kyiv," Yermak added.

In March, a meeting of EU leaders is to be held, during which the most important issues of European autonomy in the field of defense and security will be considered and the strategic compass of the EU proposed by the European Commission will be adopted.
