The Security Service if Ukraine detained a member of a terrorist group "Ghost" in the city of Pryvillia in Luhansk region, reported by the press service of SBU.
"The delinquent joined the rebels in May 2014. The armed man patrolled the streets of the city and guarded a statue of Lenin in the central square. After liberation of Pryvillia from the terrorist groups, the militant left his associates and went to Russia in order to avoid criminal responsibility," - reads the message.
From time to time the gunman visited Ukraine bypassing checkpoints and avoiding contacts with Ukrainian law enforcement officers.
"After being detained by the security service detectives, the man fully admitted his guilt and urged all those in illegal armed groups, to surrender," - stated in the SBU.
