statement released by the Press Service.
“Ukraine resolutely condemns ratification of treaty "On the alliance and integration" between Russia and self-proclaimed republic of South Ossetia and evaluates this step as a manifestation of brutal disregard of the international law by the Russian Federation,” said MFA in a stated released by the press service.
It is also highlighted that occupying the territories near Tsytelubani and Orchosany, which took place these days, “corroborates the fact of creeping Russian aggression within the region”.
"Violation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia, the annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the ongoing aggression in eastern Ukraine destroy modern system of global security. Ukraine condemns Russian actions and expresses its strong support for the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia within its internationally recognized borders. Ukraine calls upon the international community to consolidate and stop the annexation of Tskhinvali region and Abkhazia (Georgia), "stressed Ukrainian MFA.
