Later, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky specified on Twitter that almost 80 people were evacuated from Afghanistan on the Ukrainian plane. The number includes eight Ukrainians and citizens of other states who asked about the urgent evacuation.
On August 22, An Il-76MD military aircraft from Afghanistan landed in Ukraine and evacuated 83 people. Most of them are foreigners.
Later, a plane with 98 citizens evacuated from Afghanistan on board has arrived at the Boryspil international airport.
