About 367,000 people will be vaccinated during the first stage of the coronavirus vaccination campaign in Ukraine. This was announced by Health Minister Maksym Stepanov at a briefing.
"We will vaccinate people who are at critical risk of getting infected with the coronavirus disease and those who perform crucial functions in the fight against the infection. The first stage assumes that 367,000 will get vaccinated. All these people are fully verified," said Stepanov.
He added that Ukraine would use "vaccines that have passed all stages of clinical trials (with the intermediate data about the third stage of such trials) and vaccines that have been registered worldwide."
As we reported earlier, the Ukrainian government approved two documents in accordance with which the procedure of purchase of new drugs and vaccines will be simplified.
“This tool is used by such advanced countries as the U.S., the UK, France, Poland, Italy, and others. We expect that the parliament supports the legislative changes that would launch this process,” reads the message.
