2,500 Ukrainian servicemen and soldiers of fourteen partner countries will be involved in the Rapid Trident 2017 military drills. Stepan Poltorak, the defense minister of Ukraine, said that as quoted by the ministry’s press service.
‘This year’s exercise will be even greater than the previous ones; joint trainings give us good chances for implementing the army standards offered by the NATO. Our partners, in turn, will have an opportunity to adopt the best practices from our fighters, their experience that they got in combat in Donbas,’ the minister said.
Rapid Trident 2017 is to take place in Western Ukraine in September 2017.
