A blast occurred in Kabul, killing at least 35 people and hurting another 42. Associated Press reported this on Monday morning, claiming that the explosion took place at 7 a.m.  

According to the local police representative, the driver ran into a bus carrying mine workers; all of the deceased were civilians.

Taliban militants claimed responsibility over the attack.

The Interior Ministry called the terrorist attack ‘a criminal act against humanity’.
