The police of Novi Pazar, Serbia, detained the 21-year-old man charged with preparing a terrorist attack. The incident occurred during the visit of Vladimir Putin to this country, Informer reported with the reference to the source.
The law enforcers halted Armin Alibašić who appeared to have carried a scope sight in his bag; later, the police searched his flat and found bomb components and some items with the ISIS symbolics.
The police don't rule out the chance that Alibašić's possible victim could be the Russian leader Vladimir Putin who was going to visit the Serbian capital on January 17. The local special services, however, are quite sure they can provide the Russian president's security.
As is known, Putin happens to be the target of Islamists because of Russia going to war with the Islamic State.
Earlier, Putin said the creation of new Orthodox Church of Ukraine is merely and 'exclusively political and secular project'. The Russian leader claimed that the clergy and believers of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine are 'prosecuted, have their shrines and monasteries taken away from them, while the church faces the attempts to be deprived of its legal name'.
