20 Russians detained in Ukraine can be exchanged for Ukrainians captured in Russia, - MP

According to Gerashchenko, Russia is not interested in the return of people earlier sent in Ukraine

20 citizens of Russia are captured in the prisons of Ukraine and they can be exchanged for the Ukrainians detained in Russia. Iryna Gerashchenko, the representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup in Minsk Trilateral Contact Group claimed this as 112 Ukraine broadcasted.

’20 Russians are detained in the Ukrainian prisons at the moment. I officially appeal from all of us to Russia – take them away! But return us our citizens, all of them mentioned in this list’,  Gerashchenko said.

Earlier, Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatolii Matios claimed that the military special service detained 11 citizens of Russia in Ukraine during four years.

Also, Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine announced that two hostages illegally kept in Russia will be returned to Ukraine by the end of this week. Later it was reported that the issue is about two border guards.
