As of August 5, Ukraine's Ministry of Social Policy has recorded 1.4 million internally displaced people from the occupied Donbas and the annexed Crimea since the beginning of the year. This is 120,000 less than the index from the previous year. The Ministry's press office reported that on Monday.

According to Tuka, Russia issued its passports to about 1,000 citizens of occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. However, the pensioners and people of pensionable age mostly get the refusals in obtaining of Russian citizenship.
