Volodymyr Zelensky, the candidate in presidential elections in Ukraine scheduled for March 31

Today Zelensky is one of the candidates who is targeted to get the votes both on the East and on the West of Ukraine. Zelensky is being “depicted” as a pro-Russian candidate, “throwing” him out of the patriotic front.

However, is Zelensky that “pro-Russian” as he is called? The answer is absolutely not. Who else is helping Ukrainian army, mocking the “Russian world” in comedian sketches by Kvartal-95 comedy show, impolitely speaks of people on the uncontrolled territories? And main points if his political program to add – high rates, cooperation with IMF, focus on the EU and Ukrainian language as the only official language.

And now, please tell me, which “pro-Russian” candidate can boast of the actions and statements like that?

To conclude – the quotation of the maestro of Ukrainian political though Mykola Pohrebinsky:

“Why they put labels on Zelensky? Petro Poroshenko’s team is doing that. If Zelensky looks like a pro-western politician, then Poroshenko’s votes go to Zelensky, as a new man in politics. That is why he should be called a “pro-Russian” politician not to be dangerous for Poroshenko,” Pohrebinsky said.

Therefore, please know that a “pro-Russian” Zelensky is a thing found by competitors’ head quarters. Zelensky himself of pro-Western and patriotic to the same extend as his “colleagues” – Tymoshenko, Poroshenko, Lyashko, Hrytsenko, Koshulynsky, etc!
