The election campaign is just beginning. And MPs already predict the future composition of the coalition in parliament. It is indicative that the most doubtless ideas are voiced by those who definitely won't be in the coalition.
For example, the MP from the “Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc” Pavlo Rizanenko predicts the unification of the “Servant of the People” and “Batkivschyna” party.
According to him, “Servant of the People” will not form a coalition with the “Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc” or the “Opposition Platform - For Life”: “I have conducted several election campaigns, including my own, by the majority system. And there will be no representation from the “Servant of the People” by majority system.
In the east, many mandates will be taken by the Opposition Platform - For Life, in the west and in the center – by the former "orange" camp, especially if they coordinate the candidates. And accordingly, my prediction is that there will be 175-180 mandates in the Zelensky party, not more than 200.
And he will have to create a coalition. With whom? It was stated that in no case there will be coalition with the former "Opposition bloc," that is, the "Opposition Platform - For Life", and with the Poroshenko’s “Solidarity", said Rizanenko.
Zelensky himself denies the possibility of a coalition with the Opposition Platform. He also said that he did not intend to unite with Poroshenko.
Sociologists predict that the "Servant of the People", "Opposition Platform - For Life", "Batkivshchyna" and “Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc” will overcome the 5% barrier. The prospect of other parties to overcome the barrier is very small.
Among the parties that go to the parliament, the coalition of "Servant of the People" and "Batkivshchyna" looks the most organic. Their ideological principles completely coincide. Especially in terms of democracy and the economy. And in a parliamentary-presidential republic, the president will not be effective without an experienced prime minister.
The political tango of Zelensky and Tymoshenko will lead to the fact that an inexperienced politician will not make annoying mistakes. For example, the statement of Zelensky about the referendum on a peace treaty with Moscow annoyed some of the people. There are certain issues that require the skill of negotiation, rather than public comment.
Especially when people consider the end of the war as the main task of the president. The youth and innovation of Zelensky should be multiplied by the experience and calculations of Yulia Tymoshenko. Then you can count on good changes.
Rumors on the association of "Servant of the People" and "Batkivshchyna" become a reality.
In a live talk show on "1 + 1" Yulia Tymoshenko demonstrated that she is ready to sacrifice ambitions. She handed over a package of decrees and bills to lower tariffs to the head of the Presidential Administration Andriy Bogdan. These are two draft presidential decrees. The first stops the effect of a government decree on raising tariffs.
The second decree appoints two members of the National Commission on state regulation in the fields of energy and utilities under the quota of the president. It is this body that is preparing the government's proposals for gas tariffs.
Also among the documents that Tymoshenko submitted to Bogdan, is a bill that directs gas of our own production to the needs of the population and budgetary institutions. This bill is already registered in parliament, and was supported by the relevant committee.
Nevertheless, Tymoshenko is ready to cede the "laurels" to the president. She is ready that the president will submit a bill under his authorship.
If the parties “Servant of the People” and “Batkivshchyna” form a coalition, Tymoshenko will become the Prime Minister for the third time. If the situation develops in such a paradigm, then the posts of First Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada will be occupied by representatives of the “Servant of the People”.
