The President is the head of state, according to the Constitution. He is the guarantor of the national security of our country. He is also the guarantor of the rights and freedoms of its citizens.

Now in Ukraine, there are political and economic crises, there is still an undeclared war. In such circumstances, President Zelensky is obliged to show political will, based on the election results. And I remind you that 73% voted for Zelensky as president of our country. This is not just a good result - it is a signal that society has entrusted him the right to change.

And the new president is obliged to act. But the old government still rules in the Verkhovna Rada and in the Cabinet of Ministers and does everything so that Zelensky remains a nominal president, without any leverage. The main beneficiary of this situation is Petro Poroshenko. And those oligarchs who support him.

The Verkhovna Rada was unable to dismiss the ministers appointed under the Poroshenko quota: Foreign Minister Klimkin, Defense Minister Poltorak, and the head of the Security Service Grytsak. Each of them in his own field had a hand in discrediting Ukraine’s foreign policy and national security.

With their votes, MPs have demonstrated the existence of a constitutional insurrection. The lawfully elected president of the Verkhovna Rada does not allow fulfilling his direct duties.

In such a situation, the president should appoint by a decree new foreign ministers, defense ministers, the head of the Security Service and the prosecutor general.

During the inauguration, Zelensky announced the dissolution of parliament, then issued a decree dissolving parliament. Since there are all signs of constitutional insurrection, the president must take responsibility to disperse this gathering, which can hardly be called a parliament.

Zelensky must act on behalf of the people who are the source and carrier of the Ukrainian government. And his position on the presidential elections clearly showed that he wants immediate change.

The new president wants to put an end to Poroshenko’s era.
