The offshore scandal in Ukraine is not over yet, but the new one has already erupted. This time it is about spending of the Party of Regions for the period from June 6 to December 6, 2012. The media have already labeled them "black accounting" of Party of Regions.

Documents contain date, names, and initials of people, the amount of money in dollars, the purpose of money allocated and signatures, presumably, of those who received the money. Kaleidoscope of the names is very different: there are former and current MPs, ex-ministers, members of the Central Election Commission, the top managers of TV channels, the leaders of political consultants and polling agencies.

The documents cover six months of 2012 - from June 6 to December 6. However, it is important to note that the period from 5 October to 23 November in the documents is missed. It was the last phase of the election campaign in Ukraine, in fact, the announcement of results. One page ends on October 5, and the next begins from November 23, we can conclude that the desired pages are deliberately withdrawn. Who did it and why?

The documents were published by Ukrainska Pravda (UP) and presented by the editor in chief Segvil Musayeva and MP Serhiy Leshchenko. According to Musayeva and Leshchenko, documents were obtained from anonymous sources at the beginning of the year. Leshchenko personally got this data, and took two more journalists to analyze all the papers. Then, in May, the information was given to the "UP". This is the version Leshchenko.

"This is the barn book of costs of the Party of Regions, which almost at the same time appeared at a former journalist and now a People's Deputy Serhiy Leshchenko, as well as the ex-deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine Victor Trepakov," as stated in the materials of UP.

It became known that former first deputy head of the Security Service Victor Trepak has passed his version of "black accounts" to Ukraine’s of (NABU). He said that the documents reveal a payout of "black cash" to officials, totaling approximately $ 2 billion. According to him, these documents determine "who, how much, and for what" received the money, and "reveal in detail the mechanism of the arrival of Yanukovych to power."

Leshchenko stressed that his and Trepakov’s sources of the documents are different.

So far, the public was told of political corruption in the Party of Regions, as well as involvement of "Our Ukraine" and the Communist Party. Victor Trepak stated that the then president Viktor Yushchenko helped Viktor Yanukovych to come to power. These are money that Party of Regions allegedly gave to other parties. Total payments of "Our Ukraine" for this period amounted to about $ 3 million.

According to the documents, Party of Regions sponsored the communists’ essential spending on television. Millions of dollars were spent for PR support of the Party of Regions on the channel "Inter" and ICTV, in the regional press and the FM-radio stations. Almost $ 3 million has been spent for CEC.

In addition to the brute facts themselves, the published documents raise numerous questions. For example, why have got the documents only about this period? Why the page of October-November 2012 are cut out? Why this list does not include representatives of the current government? Why Oleg Lyashko was so nervous, when it became known that a piece of data from the archive will be released? Is this selective archive publication part of the some other blackmail of political forces? Why those who owned the archives kept silence two years ago, when Yanukovych was running away?
