What is happening in the last two days - it's very scary. These war crimes are a violation of international law by Russia and its puppets, a violation of the Minsk agreements on the part of the Russian Federation, which is a signatory to these agreements.

This shows that Russia is completely not going to fulfill the Minsk agreement, completely ignoring its international obligations. We made an official statement. At night, our Permanent Representative to the United Nations addressed to the Secretary General with a letter outlining our position on the situation we now have. Also he appealed to all the other countries of the Security Council on this issue. An extraordinary meeting of the Security Council may be arranged. Given the difference in time, I do not have confirmation regarding these agreements yet.

But already there are reports that today at the request of the Ukrainian delegation at 16:00 local time (17:00 on Kyiv) was held a special meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna among some of its member countries regarding the deterioration of the situation ... We will do everything in order to provide OSCE SMM enhanced groups an access to Avdiivka and so that they will help people in this critical situation.

Three points are important for us. First of all, this means informing the international community, these 57 countries, about what's happening in and around Avdiivka. Secondly, once again draw attention to the absolutely impudent violation of Minsk agreements, international law, war crimes made by Russia in the territory of Ukraine. And thirdly, urge our partners to increase pressure on Russia with a demand to stop such absolutely unacceptable and illegal actions. We look forward to that support from our partners.

I am more than confident that our German, French friends, other partners will encourage Russia to sit down at the negotiating table.
