The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that in the PrivatBank case he would only protect the state and citizens. Zelensky stated this during the meeting with European Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis, on the page of Presidential Administration on Twitter.
“As for PrivatBank, I will defend only the state, only citizens. I do not care about these games of former owners in the courts. I'm not going to be on their side,” Zelensky said.
As it was reported earlier, PrivatBank filed a lawsuit against its ex-owner Iрor Kolomoysky; it will be considered by the Court of Chancery of Denver, the U.S.
The court merged five Kolomoysky’s lawsuits against Ukraine's National Bank, PrivatBank.

On April 18, Kyiv-based court ruled that the nationalization of Privatbank in late 2017 was 'conducted with multiple law breaches.' The court, thus, granted the motion by Ihor Kolomoysky, the oligarch who appealed against the nationalization of the bank he had owned.
District Administrative Court of Kyiv granted the claim of Ukrainian oligarch Ihor Kolomoysky against the National Bank of Ukraine and Ukraine’s Government on nationalization of PrivatBank.
