He added that Ukraine cannot import electricity and coal from countries, which do not allow the country to enter their markets.
“What should we talk about import if the countries from which we import, do not allow us to enter their markets? Because, firstly, it is our coal, our miners, our electricity. If some rank is not mined in our country, then we may start the discussion of particular rank and import of it,” Zelensky said.
The president stated that this issue should be solved urgently.
Ukraine renewed the commercial import of electricity from Russia on October 1, 2019. According to the agency, United Energy provided the import of electricity from Russia on an equable schedule with a capacity of 100 MWt on October 1.
Earlier we reported that Ukraine has not been supplying gas for its needs from Russia for 1400 days, so all imported gas comes exclusively from the territory of the European Union.
