President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that because of the hryvnia exchange rate that has been maintained in the country lately, Ukrainian enterprises lost millions and shut down. The head of state said this at a meeting with business in the Chernivtsi region, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

“Millions didn’t receive the enterprises and closed because of this course, it’s true. We fought this from the very beginning of my cadence. Everyone around us said that we have an independent bank. Yes, and we support the independence of the National Bank of Ukraine, but we told everyone that how can we live, even if we have a budget calculated at the rate of 30, and the hryvnia, you see what we have. We were told that these are market conditions, an independent bank, etc., and you all know this very well," the president said.

According to the head of state, all entrepreneurs "perfectly understand" the situation around the head of the National Bank of Ukraine.

As we reported before, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a working trip to the Odesa region inspected the terminals and investment projects of Transinvestservice (TIS). In particular, the head of state examined the Neptune Cargill grain terminal station and the Pivdenny state port, where the Trump D bulk carrier, owned by an American company, is also located.
