The Mission of the Economic Development of the World Bank arrived in Kyiv to esteem the progress of the reforms in ease of doing business on July 3. The press service of the Ministry of the Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine reported this.
Also, the First Deputy of the Minister Maksym Nefedov met the economists of the World Bank Maksym Yavorsky and Tygran Parvanyan.
The mission will work in Ukraine during the week. The main aims of the visit are the meetings with the private economy to esteem the implementation of the reforms declared by Ukraine in for the next year.
'Such missions also visit other countries but not all of them. This way we have the unique opportunity to demonstrate the state of the business and the way reforms act', Maksym Nefedov said, 'The representatives of the mission will meet with the Ministry of Justice, the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre, the State Architecture and Building Inspection of Ukraine, the National Regulatory Commission on Energy and Utilities of Ukraine and analyze the state of business including all components of Doing Business rating'.
The results of the meetings in Kyiv will be reported in the yearly report of the World Bank 'Doing Business 2018'.
The Ministry of Ministry of the Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine addressed the letter to the President of the World Bank on Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Satu Kakchonen on May 2, 2017. It was the invitation for the special mission on report of ease of doing business.
