The World Bank has improved its forecast of economic growth of Ukraine in 2021. According to the forecast, the growth rate will make 3.8 percent. This is mentioned in the WB's report published on March 31.
However, the forecast for the next year dropped from 3.1 to 3 percent.
The gradual growth of Ukraine's economy in 2021 is conditioned by high uncertainty caused by the rate of anti-Covid vaccination campaign and the economic policy of improving the investment climate and provision of macroeconomic stability.
Earlier, State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported that Ukraine's real GDP in 2020 has dropped by four percent. According to the Service's estimates, the nominal GDP in this country made some 150 billion dollars. Last year's deflator change rate made 9.8 percent.
