Salary increases exceeded the pace of price increases in Ukraine. This was reported by Volodymyr Groysman, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, on his Facebook page.

"Good news. According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the average wage of full time employee in Ukraine amounted to $254. This is two times more than the minimal salary and 8.7% more than the indicator in February. Such growth is in line with the increase of industrial production, which grew more than 8% in March," he wrote.

Prime Minister noted that the income growth of Ukrainian people exceeded 37% per year in general.

"Taking into account the fact that inflation index for this period was about 15%, we can safely say that wage growth exceeds the rate of price increases finally. This is what we want: convert economic indicators into wellbeing of every Ukrainian," he assured.
