The government of Switzerland confirmed that Ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych does not have any accounts or active assets in Swiss banks. Law firm JOSEPH HAGE AARONSON LLP that represents Yanukovych published the corresponding document.

According to the document, the Swiss authorities confirmed in the letter as of March 1, 2017 that there are no frozen accounts or assets that Yanukovych obtains. The actions conducted to frozen assets regard other persons in Ukraine. Yanukovych has always claimed he has no bank accounts or any other assets in Switzerland or in any other country except Ukraine", reads the message of the law firm.
