The United States of America are imposing 15% duties on goods from China at night on September 1. This was confirmed by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, as DW informs.

It is noted that earlier the government allowed to import goods being on its way under low tariffs during a short period even on the moment when the new customs duties came into effect. However, there will be no such practices anymore.

People’s Republic of China and the United States were holding negotiations during several months on the settlement of trade disputes. Washington imposed additional taxes on Chinese goods, having increased the tax from 10 to 25 per cents in the total amount of $200 billion.

As it was reported earlier, John Bolton, the U.S. National Security Advisor confirmed that he would try to convince the Ukrainian authority in the danger of the cooperation with Chinese. However, he refused to comment questions tied with Motor Sich enterprise.
