The US Commerce Department announced sanctions against two companies and three individuals in Turkey because of their ties with Iran. It was reported by "TASS" referring to the US Ministry of Trade.

In particular, it is noted that Murat Tashkyran and the company "Komposit Kimya" are included in the US "black list" because they bypassed US laws and exported "high-quality carbon fiber of American origin" to Iran.

In addition, Resit Tavan, Fulya Kalafatoglu Oguztyurk and the company "Ramor Group" got under US sanctions because of "involvement in the procurement or transfer of US goods to Iran for use by the Iranian military."

Henceforth, a special export licensing regime "with presumption of denial" will operate for all these companies and individuals in the United States.

Also, the airline company "Veteran Avia" was removed from the sanctions list with the same decree. It is now indicated that it is based in India. But when the sanctions were introduced in 2014, it was reported that the company had offices in Armenia, UK, India, UAE and Pakistan.

The document of the US Department of Commerce introduced technical adjustments in its regulations related to the recent extension of US sanctions on the Federal Autonomous Institution "Glavgosexpertiza Russia".
