U.S. Congress agreed the defense budget for 2020, which provides the allocation of $300 million of military aid to Ukraine as Reuters reported.

The funds will be allocated for the implementation of the initiative on the assistance to Ukraine in the security sphere.

The negotiations on the budget lasted for a few months. It is expected that it would be adopted until the end of 2019.

Generally, the defense budget of the U.S. for the next year is $738 billion.

The U.S. Congress has laid the imposing of the sanctions against the Russian energy in the military budget for 2020. Particularly, the restrictions will be imposed due to the construction of the Nord Stream 2 and TurkStream.

As we reported earlier, U.S. federal court two federal agencies to hand over the documents related to Trump administration's withholding of military aid to Ukraine to the media organization "Center for Honesty in Society".

Besides, Pentagon stated that the U.S. government would pay 35,2 million dollars under the contract. Ukraine will receive 250 million dollars of financial aid by the end of 2019
