Ukrtransnafta JSC has resumed oil transit to the European Union. This is reported in Facebook by the press service of the company.

"Today, May 11, at 2:35 pm, Ukrtransnafta JSC resumed oil transit to European consumers via the Druzhba main oil pipeline," the report said.

On May 6, it was reported that the Mozyr producing station had already begun to supply oil with quality indicators that corresponded to the norm to the Druzhba pipeline system in the direction of Ukraine for its further transportation to the EU countries.

Earlier, Ukrtransnafta reported that high-quality oil from Russia would arrive at delivery points in the EU approximately on 18 May.

We recall, on April 25, the company was forced to suspend the transit of oil through the Mozyr-Brody pipeline in connection with information about the flow of low-quality oil from Russia.

Four people were detained in Russia in the case on pollution of oil in Druzhba pipeline, as TASS news agency reported, citing Alexandr Novak, Russia's Minister of Energy.

According to him, the investigation defined a group of companies, which brought polluted oil to the pipeline.
