“As of today, as part of the pilot project, five gas stations across Kyiv region have been repaired and put into operation, while another one is to be commissioned in the nearest future,” the press service claimed.
Ukrnafta intends to proceed to the next stage of reconstruction in the early summer of the present year, which is supposed to include repairing 10 gas stations in Western Ukraine (Lviv and Rivne regions).
“We expect to begin the repairs of another 20 gas stations by the end of the current year. Each stage of the repairs schedule is estimated to take around 4 months,” – the press service of Ukrnafta stated.
The repaired gas stations now offer food stores and fast food areas.
At the same time, the corporation does not state the cost of the repairs.
Ukrnafta operates a network of 537 gas stations throughout Ukraine.
Naftogaz-Ukraine owns a 50% plus one share stake in Ukrnafta, whereas a group of businesses affiliated with the former shareholders of Privatbank retains around 42% of the shares.
