PAO Ukrgazvydobuvannya is going to sell the gasoline procduced at the Shebelinske gas refinery plant (A-92, A-95, diesel, LPG) under the brand Shebel. The company’s chief financial officer Serhiy Fedorenko said during the presentation on Monday, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
During the presentation, a memorandum on 3-year cooperation between Ukrgazvydobuvannya and the Kyiv-based gas station chain KLO was signed. The fuel is also sold at stations that are part of the UGV chain (under the U.GO brand) in Kharkiv region.
During the presentation, S. Fedorenko reminded that the German consortium BASF has designed a package of additives for the enhancement of low-temperature properties of the diesel fuel produced by the Shebelinske gas refinery plant.
“We have been cooperating with BASF for over a year in order to design a diesel addition for our winter diesel fuel that would suit our raw materials. We received it right before this winter. Our goal is for all the fuel that comes out of the gas refinery plant to have the same package of additions.
Earlier it was reported that the Shebelinske gas refinery plant declined its refining of oil raw materials by 0.7% (or by 3.7 thousand tons) against 2016 – to 493.5 thousand tons. The share of the plant within the entire structure of Ukrgazvydobuvannya’s refining operations stood at 96.7% (or at 493.5 thousand tons out of 510.3 thousand tons).
Ukrgazvydobuvannya, which is fully owned by NAK Naftogaz-Ukraine is the country’s gas extraction corporation that provides over 75% of the gas extracted in Ukraine.
The company also explois the Shebelinske gas refinery plant, the Yablunivske gas refinery department, the Bazilivshina technological section for condensate stabilization and 19 gas stations in Kharkiv region, that sell oil goods and liquified gas it produces. The Shebelivske gas refinery plant, since 2018, has moved towards the production of oil goods of Euro-5 standard.
