According to the rating experts, it is the first time a state bank becomes one of the most sustainable and properly competes with foreign banks. One of the main indicators, which defines the place of a bank in the viability rating, is the loyalty of depositors.
Besides, an additional survey was conducted among the rating experts, in respect of the bank, which experts would trust more than USD 7,200. The experts gave Ukrgasbank the second place.
Besides, the reputation, the experience of the financial institution and the index of the resilience of banks, which include the following indicators: dependence of the bank on individuals' deposits, funding quality, profitability, liquidity, capital adequacy and the scale of the bank’s activities were taken into account while compiling the rating.
Analysts noted that the situation in the financial market in Ukraine was stable in the third quarter, and brought profit. The positive financial result of banks reached USD 394 billion over January – February 2018.
Experts from Ministry of Finances, IBI-Rating, ICU, Dragon Capital Expert-Rating assessed banks during the preparation of viability rating for the third quarter.
Reportedly, Ukrgasbank became one of the most stable among the state banks of Ukraine, according to the rating of the second quarter of 2018 of the financial edition of the Ministry of Finances. Also, Ukrgasbank yet a second year in the row enters the three leading banks of Ukraine, and chairman of the board Kyrylo Shevchenko became one of the best TOP-managers in the annual rating ’50 leading banks of Ukraine’ of Financial Club edition.
