Total public (direct) debt and publicly guaranteed debt of Ukraine in December 2018 increased by 4,77% or $3,56 billion to $78,32 billion, as the press office of the Finance Ministry reported.

In late 2018, the public and guaranteed debt of Ukraine made $78,32 billion compared with $74,75 billion a month ago.

The total amount of public debt was $67,19 billion on December 31 in comparison with $65,01 billion.

At the same time, the external debt over a month went up by $0,8 billion to $39,71 billion, and by $1,22 billion over 2018.

The direct internal debt increased by $ 1,39 billion to $ 27,49 billion.

The guaranteed debt of Ukraine made $11,13 billion on December 31.
