Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal predicts that the price of gas will decrease in the spring-summer period,
" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Breakfast with " target="_blank" rel="noopener">1+1 reports."It is an exchange so it is pretty difficult to make any prediction. My estimates are that the price will go down in the spring and summer. This is a traditional estimate that has been formed on the world's exchanges for years," Shmygal said.
At the same time, Shmygal noted that the government would develop an annual gas product, which would provide for a fixed price of gas for the population for a year.
"State Enterprise 'Naftogaz' and other gas suppliers will calculate the price of their annual products and will offer Ukrainians a fixed price," he said.
As we reported earlier, the Ukrainian government members held a meeting with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) dedicated to gas tariffs for the population.
On January 13, Ukraine's main energy infrastructure leaders agreed that the gas price for the population would be lower than the market prices.
