Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk has instructed the leadership of the State Property Fund to privatize more than 300 objects in 2020. He wrote about it on his Telegram page.
"We have prepared the groundwork for small-scale privatization by the New Year, and this month we have announced 87 transparent auctions. I have instructed Dmytro Sennychenko, the chairman of the State Property Fund, to conduct transparent privatization of over 300 objects planned for this year,” Honcharuk wrote.
According to him, in 2019, Ukraine’s privatization revenues were twice as high as in 2018.
"In the first quarter, the State Property Fund plans to announce more than 200 auctions with a new quality of disclosure. In order for this to happen, the State Property Fund has launched a virtual data room. This is a pilot project where all enterprise documents will be available in electronic format to everyone. The investor should know not only the name of the enterprises but also the current state of affairs,” the PM wrote.
As we reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers transferred 530 state-owned enterprises, the total cost of which is more than 512 million dollars, for privatization. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk has informed about it on his Twitter page.
Auctions are scheduled to begin in 2020.
"In almost 4 months, more state-owned objects have been transferred for privatization than in all 28 years of independence," Ukraine’s PM wrote.
