The Economic Court of Lviv region sustained the claim of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on the recovery of the mortgage from the company Dniprometalservice, which is associated with oligarch Ihor Kolomoysky. This was reported by NBU's press service.

It is known that in September 2014, this company provided the NBU with non-residential premises with an area of almost 20 thousand square meters and worth more than 4,1 million dollars as collateral for the refinancing loan provided to Privatbank before its nationalization.

As PJSC "Dniprometalservice" failed to fulfill its obligations as a property guarantor of PrivatBank, in May 2018, the National Bank sued for the purpose of collecting mortgaged property. And on January 16, 2020, the NBU's claim was fully settled.

As we reported earlier, PrivatBank in Israel filed a new $600 million lawsuit against its former owner Ihor Kolomoysky, according to the bank's press service.

"The bank initiated a new lawsuit in Tel Aviv District Court in Israel against former bank owners and other defendants yesterday. The claim amounts to 600 million dollars," the statement reads.
