As of today, September 1, 2020, the minimum wage in Ukraine amounts to 5,000 hryvnias (181,4 dollars) per month and 29,2 hryvnias (1,06 dollars) per hour.
Compared to August 2020, the minimum wage has increased by 5.86% - 277 hryvnias (10 dollars).
Also, the planned tax revenues increase by 541.3 million hryvnias (19,6 million dollars), in particular with the personal income tax and collection - by 461.3 million hryvnias (16,7 million dollars) and the value-added tax on goods (works, services) produced in Ukraine, taking into account the budget reimbursement - by 80 million hryvnias (2,9 million dollars).
As we reported earlier, the Ukrainian government expects that the average salary in the country would be at the level of 600 dollars by 2022.
"In June, the average real wages exceeded the pre-crisis level and amounted to $450. The economy began to recover, and people are returning to work. We expect that by 2022 the average salaries in the country will be at the level of $600,” the head of government stated.
