Ukraine’s industrial production reduced by 0.2% in July

In July 2019, the industrial production of Ukraine reduced by 0.2% (not corrected for effect of the calendar days) and by 1.1% (corrected) in comparison with July 2018 as State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported.

At the same time, in July 2019 the industrial production increased by 3.6% (not corrected for effect of the calendar days) and by 0.6% (corrected) in comparison with June 2019.

In January-July 2019, the index of the industrial production increased by 0.4% in comparison with January-July 2018.

In July 2019, consumer prices in Ukraine fell by 0.6%. In particular, prices for food and non-alcoholic drinks in July fell by 0.7%, for clothes and shoes - by 4.5%, for housing and communal services - by 2.3%.

As we reported inflation in Ukraine in May 2019 was 0.7%, compared with 1% in April, 0.9% in March, 0.5% in February and 1% in January.

In the annual terms, the consumer price growth accelerated by 9.6% in May, by 8.8% in April and by 8.6% in March of the current year.

The core inflation in May 2019 declined to 0.2%, while in April it was 0.4%, in March - 1.2%, in February - 0.2%, and in January - 0.3%. In the annual terms, it remained at the level as in April - 7.4%, compared with 7.6% in March, 7.8% in February and 8.3% in January.
