In June 2020, industrial production in Ukraine declined by 5.6% (not adjusted for the effect of calendar days), and by 7.1% (adjusted) compared to June 2019. This was reported by the State Statistics Service.
At the same time, in June 2020, industrial production increased by 4.1% (unadjusted) and 3.4% (seasonally adjusted) compared to May 2020.
In January-June 2020, compared to the same period last year, industrial production dropped by 8.3%.
As we reported earlier, according to Prime Minister Denys Shmygal, Ukraine’s international reserves reached more than 28.5 billion dollars in June, which is the highest figure in eight years.
“Ukraine’s international reserves in June grew by more than $ 3 billion. Now they amount to more than $ 28.5 billion. This is the highest level of reserves in the last 8 years,” the prime minister emphasized.
It was also noted that the reserves covered almost five months of imports.
As of June 1, 2020, the international reserves of Ukraine amounted to 25 371 800 000 dollars. In May, they decreased by 1.3%.
